The PMO offers project management seminars for the general PM and LBNL community. These seminars showcase LBNL subject matter experts and colleagues sharing their knowledge and perspective on PM news, strategies, tools, and best practices for guiding projects to successful outcomes. Participants are encouraged to ask questions to gain further understanding. Past seminars have focused on a range of PM topics and tools, including:
- Project Management Tools and Processes
- Risk Management
- Quality Assurance in Manufacturing Processes
- Procurement
If you are a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential holder, you may be eligible to receive continuing education credit for participating in a seminar or viewing the recording. The seminar series and recordings are only available to LBNL staff and Affiliates.

Project Management Professional Continuing Education Credit
If you are a Project Management Institute (PMI) credential holder, including Project Management Professional (PMP), PM Best Practices seminars and PMO training courses may be eligible as Professional Development Units (PDUs) to fulfill continuing education course credit. See PMI PDU Education webpage or use the directions here to report PM seminars and PMO training courses as PDUs.
